November 14, 1942: Celebrate the Birthday of Theoretical Biologist Marcus Feldman

Marcus William Feldman (November 14, 1942 – present) is an Australian-born American theoretical biologist, professor of Biological Sciences, and director of the Morrison Institute for Population and Resource Studies at Stanford University. His research focuses on mathematical evolutionary theory and computational studies in evolutionary biology. Applying information technology on the study in populational genetics and the theory of molecular evolution, Feldman introduces a model of the relationship between civilization and genetic evolution, and is the pioneering scientist to explain the formation of social community.
